Points shared in Berkshire

Following on from the goal-fest on Saturday, Monday evenings trip to Binfield was a complete contrast, with both sides had yet to pick up a league point this season, and this showed in a cagey affair with few clear cut chances at either end.

George Moore went closest for the Reds when he got through one on one with the keeper, but saw his low shot well saved on 24 minutes. Binfield had the best chance of the half but Duarte Surpanu curled his shot well wide after good work on the right wing.

HT 0-0

Uxbridge had switched formations a few times to try and spark the game into life, but the second half followed a similar pattern to the first, with both sides cancelling each other out - once again the industrious Moore had the visitors best chance when he headed narrowly over on 61 minutes. Uxbridge were reduced to 10 men on 81 minutes when James Taylor saw red for a challenge in the middle of the park - from then on the game drifted to the inevitable conclusion. Uxbridge do now have a point to build on though, starting with the visit of Badshot Lea to Honeycroft on Saturday.
