Club Statement - Committee Update

Uxbridge Football Club are delighted to announce two new roles for existing members of our management committee.

Steve Kennedy has rightfully earned the title of vice chairman and we are delighted he has accepted the offer of this new position. Steve is an invaluable member of the team behind the scenes and dedicates so much time and energy for the betterment of the club. We trust his new title and role is an appreciation of both his importance and also recognition of his outstanding commitment to the football club.

Secondly Mick Bodman will assume the newly created position of Fan Advisory Officer.

We have long been mindful that our support base need a proper and recognised procedure for raising any and all issues they have with the management committee of the football club.

It is not just words when we say they are the most important people at our club and we want to provide a clear and transparent avenue for their voice to be heard in the managing and continuing direction of the football club. Mick can only be described as first and foremost an Uxbridge supporter at heart and both his amiable personality amongst the fans and his inherit beliefs make him the ideal candidate for this role.

We hope that our supporters will respect his role on the committee but also use the opportunity to raise anything with him in an appropriate manner knowing it will then both considered and heard.
