Uxbridge Football Club is deeply saddened to announce the passing of its Treasurer, David Tucker, following a brief period of illness.
David’s association with the Football Club commenced in 1969 upon joining the Committee and in addition to holding the office of Club Secretary from 1970-1990 he acted as Club Treasurer from 1973,a position he held unbroken to this day.
David’s passing will have a profound impact on all those associated with the Football Club as both his personal presence and financial support have been synonymous for in excess of fifty years.
In recognition of both his forethought and acumen the Club is on a sound financial footing moving forward, especially in relation to his long held ambition to oversee a major redevelopment of the clubs facilities.
The Club would like to place on record its gratitude for all David’s service and generosity throughout the years and further details in relation to his funeral arrangements will be published in due course.
