Uxbridge Football Club are delighted to announce some major redevelopments taking place at their Honeycroft home.
A new 3G pitch is being installed to the Stadia Pitch in addition to new pitch surrounds, perimeter fencing, dugouts, LED floodlighting and a replacement stand.
The current phase of improvements were all part of the vision of our late Treasurer David Tucker and former Chairman Alan Holloway and recently retired Secretary Roger Stevens.
The Football Club is indebted to the generous bequeathment of David Tucker to enable the works to be completed for the benefit of all those involved at Honeycroft in the years ahead.
All the current Management Committee are determined and focused on delivering the vision to provide the best possible facilities for players and spectators alike.
The pitch itself is a Polytan Ligaturf Next CP laid on a 25mm in situ shock pad, a professional standard pitch which will be the first of this top of the range product to be installed in the UK.
The new stand will replace the existing stand adjacent to the training pitch and will contain seating for 158 supporters.
The replacement LED floodlight luminaires will not only improve lighting performance across the playing area, but also be more efficient and cost effective to operate.
The new dugouts will seat 12 Coaching Staff and Players, and supporters will note the improvements to the perimeter walkways around the playing area.
Plans are not just contained to the Stadia Pitch; improvements are also being made to the existing Clubhouse to improve the experience for all visitors.
A new ceiling has already been installed incorporating LED lighting, and the existing entrance to the Clubhouse will be moved to allow more seating within the main bar area.
Further improvements to the decor are planned to include a new floor and furniture to modernise the whole interior.
All the above underpins the vision of the Management Committee at the Football Club to improve Honeycroft and provide a suitable home for the Club to progress upwards within the existing Football Pyramid.
We look forward to making more exciting announcements in the very near future to further illustrate the upward trajectory of the Football Club.
