The Red Army would like to welcome Danny Edwards to Honeycroft

Uxbridge Football Club announce the appointment of Danny Edwards as their new manager.

Danny will be accompanied by Fred Cummings as Assistant Manager. Fred is well known to the followers of the Red Army as a combative centre half with 320 First Team appearances between 1982 and 1989.

Club Chairman Alan Holloway said of the appointment: "We undertook a thorough and extensive process interviewing several impressive applicants before deciding to appoint Danny. His football qualifications and background in education bode well for our desire to develop a club catering for footballers of all ages. Crucially, his values are aligned with our ambition to develop a progressive club fit for the future whilst retaining the best traditions of our 148 year history."
