RUBY HANGS UP HIS BOOTS

7 months ago By Chris Pinn

Training Ground injury

“He was a lovely lad to work with” Tony Choules

We learnt last week that after an injury sustained in training after only three matches into his Uxbridge career Matt Ruby has been advised, on medical grounds to hang up his boots.

Matt had become a key part of the newly built team by manager Tony Choules with the younger and inexperienced players looking up to Matt whose experience at Woking, Maidenhead and Hampton & Richmond Borough was invaluable.

Tony Choules said ' Matt was a lovely lad to work with, keen, hungry and always with a smile on his face, he will be sorely missed as a player'.

The club wish Matt all the best for his future and he is always welcome at Honeycroft.
